The State launched the 2017 California School Dashboard this past December. There have been some concerns and issues that small school districts face when being compared with this new State accountability system.  ACSA's Martha Alvarez has been working to ensure the perspective of the SSDC and small districts (under 2500 ADA) have been addressed by the SBE. Still there are several individual issues that small districts face after the rollout of the DASHBOARD. Martha will review her work with SBE on behalf of the SSDC and then will answer questions posed in an interactive discussion session following her presentation. NOTE: There will be two separate presentations on the Dashboard - one by a representative from the State Board of Education and another by two representatives of the California Department of Education.
