I have been in education for 20 years and this is my 6th year as a Superintendent! I am centered and deeply committed to my faith, my family, friends and my profession and truly I appreciate all the blessings for which I've been afforded. As a leader, I believe in cultivating strong and positive relationships, keeping students as the central focus of our efforts and we are spending our time focused on strengthening our systems in order to be able to monitor our progress and measure our impact on student learning outcomes. We are also heavily invested in educational equity and excellence in SSFUSD and though we still have a ways to go, we are doing well in building capacity.  We are on a journey in SSFUSD in our CAR (c-communication, a- achievements, r-building relationships) and we strive to make it to our destination for all students where they will graduate well prepared to explore and contribute to the wider world! As part of this journey, we also believe in giving our students a seat at the table to help make decisions as to what parts of their educational experiences could be better.
